Be the person your pet thinks you are

Joel and Cerise not only share seven children they also share three dogs, five grand dogs. two grand kitties, and two grand bunnies. They have a passion for animals and absolutely love it when they can incorporate creative pet friendly spaces into their projects. In October of 2021 they adopted their newest four legged friend, Cooper at an adoption event for the crossroads animal shelter in Buffalo, MN. It is their goal to give back to shelters everywhere through their own donations and with your help.

Each Year:

  • 6.5 million animals enter US shelters.

  • 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted.

  • 3 million shelter animals are euthanized.

  • Only one out of every ten dogs will find a permanent home.

  • 88% of pets living in underserved communities aren’t spayed or neutered.

  • The US boasts more than 2,000 no-kill shelters.

When you adopt, you save a loving animal by making them part of your family and open up shelter space for another animal who might desperately need it. Find a rescue near you. Perfectly "perfect" animals of all breeds, shapes, ages and sizes are available at shelters and rescue groups

Give of your time. Even if you can’t adopt a pet just now, you can help make life better for animals in your community by volunteering with your local shelter or rescue organization. Most rescue organizations would love your support. Be hands-on with animals, help with administration or events - the opportunities are endless.
